There is no doubt that leaving somebody else to worry about the cleanup and the after-effects of any mess is easier than actually doing something about it. This stance is why many feel the mess made of the earth, and the depletion of its natural resources is somebody else’s problem to fix. The idea that the effects will not touch each person on the planet in some way is a misconceived notion that many have. Every person needs to stay earth friendly, stay green and most importantly, stay concerned.

The truth is the matter the blatant overuse of natural resources falls on the shoulders of every person and government in the world. Every person needs to hold themselves accountable for doing their part to keep the earth a friendly, green place. Taking the time to recycle or riding a bike to work instead of driving a gas guzzling car are just a couple of easy things a person can do to be earth friendly. Children need to be taught how and why it is so important to be earth friendly. These children and their children will be taking care of the earth in the years to come.

Going green is so mainstream today it has never been easier to help save the planet. Hundreds of manufacturers are letting consumers know the product they are buying is green or the container a product is sold in is from recycled material. These companies deserve the support of the people they are trying to help.

It is up to every individual, company and government to stay concerned about the earth’s future. Complacency is dangerous. It is irresponsible to assume somebody else will handle the problem or to put today’s problems on the shoulders of future generations. It is imperative to act now to slow the deterioration of this beautiful planet.
