Enviromentally Green For The Good Days

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 12:00 am

The phrase “be green” is being tossed around by everyone these days, but what does it really mean? Being green really encompasses a mindset and way of living. It is not about fitting in with a certain social group or helping the environment only to improve your social status. The fact of the matter is that we, as people, have spent far too long harming our environment and now it is the time to “be green.”

It is up to you to live this mindset in everything that you do on a daily basis. Turn the water off while brushing your teeth. Recycle anything you used during breakfast. Take public transportation or ride a bike to work. Shred and recycle paper. Eat an organic lunch that you brought from home. Use a solar powered cell phone charger. Garden when you get home. This list is endless, but you can see how each little “green” act can add up to make a difference.

So, how are you going to act today to ensure a better future? It is true that you may never see the really awful consequences of our environmentally harmful actions, but will your children? How about your children’s children? Do you want them to live in a world where they can’t breathe clean air or have a sip of clean water? Do you want them to not have the luxuries that you had because you overused what you were given?

It is time to think for the future and set up some good days for the generations to come. What can you do right now to get started? Use your imagination! You will absolutely be surprised at what you can come up with and how fulfilled you will be when you realize that you have done something to be green!
