The New World of Living Green
Contrary to what many may say, living green does not necessarily require any expensive equipment or sophisticated planning. In fact, it can be as simple as growing a variety of edible herbs, fruits and vegetables. Among all the environmentally-responsible lifestyles, home gardening can be as financially rewarding as it is healthy. It can also be a fun activity for the whole family to enjoy throughout the year.
Before starting your home garden, conduct some research on the kinds of delicious plants that are grown in your region. After choosing ones that suit your tastes, take into account the usual seasons in which they are planted and plan accordingly. Since this is a green project, consider recycling your junk items to be used for this purpose. Plastic bottles and old socks, for example, can be easily transformed into self-watering planters, while damaged tires and rusty coffee cans also make excellent growing pots. When it is eventually time to plant, you will be more than prepared.
With the right amount of patience and love, your garden will eventually flourish with organic produce to boot. When this happens, congratulate yourself; you just entered the new world of living green without too much fuss!
